TERRY YOUNG – GENERAL MANAGER

Terry Young is working on his 14th year at Hoosier Tire Midwest. His career started at the Business Manager level after a 13 year career in banking. Terry has worked for the company in the dirt late model area as well as heading up the Track Servicing when Hoosier Midwest handled the spec tire program for the ARCA ReMax Series. As the General Manager for the multi-state corporation, Terry handles a wide array of responsibilities on a daily basis, including Contract Sales duties which he splits with Craig Cowan as well as overall daily operations of the companies facilities. With Terry’s wide range of business experience, he can answer most any question. On specific tire application or compound information, Terry will be happy to direct you to the proper Product Manager for your specific application. GENE SMITH – DIRT LATE MODEL

Gene Smith is Hoosier’s Modified and Late Model Dirt Product Manager. He handles item numbers beginning with #12 (Dirt DOT, Entry) and #36 (LM Economy Dirt). During his 30-year Hoosier Midwest employment, he has served as a field sales representative for all types of racing, Store Manager, Transportation and basically all aspects of the company. Gene is the longest tenured non-owner employee in the company having started his career with Hoosier Midwest in it’s early infancy years. BRUCE BROWNING – DRAG RACE / TRANSPORTATION

Bruce Browning is the Product Manager for Hoosier Tire Midwest’s Drag Racing line. This includes the Quick Time line, the Quick Time Pro line, the Pro Street line, the Drag Slick and Drag Front line of tires. He has worked for Hoosier for over 17 years and has worked in most product lines at various times including asphalt stock car, dirt late model, road racing and sprint car. In addition to his drag racing responsibilities, Bruce is also the Transportation Manager for Hoosier Midwest. With that kind of experience, Bruce has seen many changes in the racing world over the years. Bruce has been a big part of Hoosier’s successful rise in the world of Drag Racing. PHIL CLEER – ASSISTANT DRAG RACE / TRANSPORTATION

Phil Cleer currently assists Bruce Browning with the Drag Racing tire line and the DOT Drag Radial line as well as handling other drag tire questions. Phil has worked at Hoosier Midwest for over 16years. Like Bruce, Phil has a diverse background during his tenure at Hoosier Midwest, having previously covered asphalt stock car, American Indy Car, road racing etc.. SCOTT FERNANDEZ – SPRINT CAR

Scott Fernandez has been with Hoosier Midwest over 21 years and is responsible for the Sprint Dirt line (item numbers beginning with #31), the Midget Dirt line (item numbers beginning with #35) and the Dirt Little Car line (item numbers beginning with #42). TIM BAKER – GO-KART / QUARTER MIDGET / A.T.V.

Tim Baker is the new kid on the block at Hoosier Midwest and came aboard to do product development and market analysis and handle the Product Manager role for Dirt Oval Kart & Dirt Quarter Midget tires (Item Numbers beginning with #11), Asphalt Oval Kart and Asphalt Quarter Midget tires (Item Numbers beginning with #15), and Road Race Kart tires (Item Numbers beginning with #22). Tim also handles the A.T.V. line (item numbers beginning with #16). WAREHOUSE STAFF:
Bryan Zulauf is a utility employee who backs up the Product Managers and covers various races on the road including dirt late model and sprint car events. Bryan has been employed at the Springfield store since 2005 and is a valuable asset in our track servicing area as well as in the detailing division of Hoosier Midwest and also does logistical planning for the company. In 2011 Bryan will be stepping up his involvment in the Dirt Late Model arena as he will be covering most all of the road events, learning the Dirt Late Model Product line.

Kelly Kovski is one of the old veterans of Hoosier Midwest and also is a utility employee who covers various assignments including heading up the fabrication department and working as needed at Motorsports Marketing on the ARCA race team fielded from Hoosier Tire Midwest facilities. Kelly also occasionally works a trackside service position when needed as well as doing company vehicle maintenance. Kelly started at Hoosier Midwest in 1995 while he was still in school and has been and remains a valued employee.

OFFICE STAFF

Jessica Morman started at Hoosier Midwest in 2006 and is the unofficial voice of Hoosier Midwest, fielding the majority of the incoming calls for the Springfield location. She also does all of the accounts recievable ledger posting and fields calls with questions pertaining to account balances.

Lona Boggs who has been at Hoosier since 1999 has filled a number of roles during her tenure and today is primarily responsible for the Inventory Accounting for the company. Lona is an employee who can identify a need and jump to the aid of the company in getting the need satsified. She is an all around back up and never hesitates to lend a hand when needed.

Donna Pryer Donna joined the Hoosier family in June of 2011 and is responsible for Accounts Payable, Payroll and other duties assisting Mike and Dorothy Allgaier.
